TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM
Access to technology in the classroom can be achieved in multiple ways. Some teachers like to use a rotation to be sure all students have access to technology. This usually occurs when there is a limited supply of technology in the classroom. In the event there are enough iPads or computers for each child, implementing a Genius Hour into each day can allow each student access to technology daily.
Meet Sandy: she is a teacher sharing how she uses rotation to allow all students to use their iPad's in various ways in second grade.

CLASSROOM WEBSITE
Technology organization can help teachers, students and parents stay connected. Teachers should use online calendars to post assignments that can be accessed from any computer. This can help the old “my dog ate my homework” excuse from ever coming up. Students and parents can access assignments from home, ensuring all work can be completed and submitted in a timely manner.
